The Basics: Marketed the launch of Bethesda’s Wolfenstein II title, amidst a sea of headlines across the nation about Trump and the rise of modern day nazis. That was tricky because the game was all about an alternate reality where nazis had instead won WWII… and therefore, the main character was fighting them. We decided to embrace the similarities between the imagined and the real; in addition to a robust digital media campaign (search, display, social, mobile, the works), we went straight to the very picky, very critical nerd community with a few Imgur promoted posts. They were a big hit, and breathed new life into a 30-year old game franchise.
